I never see "Megafactory Titan" on lists. It really is worth a look. I have had a lot of fun playing it.

I'm still fairly new to the automation genre. I have several thousand hours in it but I feel like I'm still learning. And that's what keeps me addicted to it. There's always a better way to do something. There's always a factory I saw online that inspires me to build or change one of my own. I don't feel like I've mastered any of them which is why I still feel new to the genre even with so many hours involved. There's still so much for me to learn. I prefer the first person factory games because they're more immersive and I feel like I'm a part of the world that I'm creating.

You missed Mindustry. It’s not new but it’s a fantastic game and should be on any automation list.

Big fan of first person building and factory games, only down side is a few like Astroneer had controls or movements that feel to sluggish or complicated to really enjoy.

When did they update the look of splitters?

Captain of Industry has recently annnounced the next update will include trains. I love this game and am hyped as this will improve things on the larger maps.

I just recently started a Playthrough of Foundry... lookin cool thus far. Oddsparks looks interesting... it's on my Radar now. Industrial Annihilation looked totally my cup of tea, but sadly my attempts to find it on Steam came up bupkiss. Is Steam missing out on Industrial Annihilation? :( I'm on Hiatus from Techtonica for now but am glad it's comin along well. ETA on doin my next Playthrough TBD, but i'm liking how it's comin along with its baking and polish. :) Desync is still in my Backlog... ETA on my first play of it TBD. Dyson Sphere Program rocks! I have managed one Playthrough of it thus far, where sadly I got my ass handed to me by the Dark Fog. Next Playthrough, maybe I should try a non-infested Sector and actually figure out how to play that game *effectively* before daring to challenge the Dark Fog... 🤕 Sadly I wasn't able to run Satisfactory's Update 8 and don't have high hopes I can run its Full Release. I'm screwed into missing this party till my next Rig, and I have no clue how long till I can get a next Rig up and running... but it's definitely not gonna be anytime soon. :( I'm still glad Satisfactory's doing well though. :)

Potion pipeline looks like a straight up copy of shapez with a different skin.

one good thing about them nerfing the pure nodes and adding more impure and normal nodes is overclocking since you can't fully overclock a pure node miner due to belt speeds.

For those that don't know Factorio isn't just releasing an expansion, but also a massive free update at the same time. They've been teasing the changes for ages now and they are incredible.

My problem is after playing Satisfactory I cant play any other Factory game anymore that isnt first person. The sole reason I can walk inside my building not only watching it from the outside is a mandatory feature for me at this point.

You... don't like Factorio? Huh KSP2 burned me so hard on the EA business model that I'm unlikely to ever buy an EA title ever again. I've wishlisted a few of these so I don't forget they exist, and will look at them when they actually release. I noted that during the entire video you talk as if a game going into early access was their release. They've really made us believe that, eh? Gaming is such a circus...

8:50 no, you can just put boilers together and water will flow through one to another. It's not necessarily to place some pipe between them. It works the same way between boiler/turbine, theese also can be connected directly. 14:50 it's supposed to be produced with assemblers mk.2, that's when the production rate becomes a quite usual integer number.

i think potion pipeline might actually be dead, the developers has put it on indefinite hold, while they work on another game called slots & sorcery, this was mentioned in the steam discussion page back in 2022

I sadly just have a pretty weak pc. What are the best performing automation games that are fun?

I built something similar. it works. but... . it takes sooo long. I'm at 80+. I leave the pc on for about 5 hours and get 2 levels.

Evospace is my favourite with so many refining methods to extract more resources from ores, as well as mixing chemicals, oil, salt.

Just finished my compact coal power plant on the northern sea so... waiting until 1.0 to go back to play the game lol

factorio is still king

great list! I bounced hard off of foundry, but autoforge and oddsparks are a ton of fun. both need more updates though. still top of my list is satisfactory 1.0

Sorry for my bad english. DSP not in 1.0? That's incredibly surprise me.. I have more than 2000 hours on him.. This game aspire my soul and sometimes my nights.. (And thanks to the modders community ofc. <3 ) I have 3500+ hours on Factorio, more thank 1500 on Satisfactory... And shop list/follow for The Crust, Shapez 2, Desync and Final Factory.. I'm prefer wait some months for see the evolution, because I'm focus on one single Factory game at a time. Final Factory has the potential to become my next game of soul-stealing factories, nights and spreadsheets. Your description of Desynced reminded me of Craftomation 101, which is very similar. I was surprised it wasn't mentioned... right now I'm _so close_ to finishing my Captain of Industry Update 2 playthrough, and I'm wondering after I'm done whether to go to Infraspace 1.0, do some more with my Satisfactory world before 1.0, go back to Foundry, or something else!
